Our founder, Ernise Gernier, was born and raised in Haiti. As a young girl, she quickly developed a love and passion for cooking. Upon arriving to the United States with two young daughters, Ernise realized that she would have to put her dreams of becoming a cook on hold to support her family. Now with three adult children and a successful nursing career, she is finally making her dreams come true. bks is more than just a business. It is a story of resilience, faith, and ambition.
